Default Qmail permissions

Hi

If you have plesk installed on the server then best way to fix the permission is to run this command.

/opt/psa/admin/bin/mchk --with-spam

Qmail have several subdirectories, can you specify for which directory you need permissions ?

If you cant figure it out then open a support ticket and provide root access and tech support will fix it.

Regards

James

I did many times, won't do it. I changed todo dir permission to qmailq:qmail.

Can someone do: ls -l /qmail/queue/todo and /qmail/queue/intd and tell me what permissions on them.

Problem is you have messed up everything in your server. You have plesk with your server but you are trying to do everything manually.
You have an unmanaged server plan and free support is only including hardware and network related issue. The problem you have is related to server management and can be covered on additional charges. But you are not even willing to provide us your root password to check anything. There was ticket from you a few days before and you create a username and gave us your password. We ask you several time to provide us root access to your server so that we can check your problem but you didnt. How can we check the problem with out accessing your server properly? You were keep asking for commands to tell you to check, if you want to check the problem yourself then you should use google to search the solution.

Still if you want us to check the server then open a ticket with your root password, and we will check it out. If problem will not take our more time then we will not charge you however if it will take time to resolve then you will be charged under our remote hand service charges.

Thanks
